It is with deepest regret that the Eaton’s Neck Fire Department announces that Past Commissioner and 48-year member Kevin G. O’Neill, father of Ex-Chief Kevin P. O’Neill, has answered his last alarm. In addition to his many years of dedicated service to the Department, Kevin leaves a lasting legacy in the volunteer fire service with his sons and grandsons serving as volunteer firefighters in Eaton’s Neck, in Oyster Bay, and in upstate Franklin County. Memorial visitation on Wednesday, March 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport. Firematic service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Church, 344 Main Street, Northport. Burial to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.
