Members gathered last night for their annual refresher on the AED models used across the fire department. Every piece of apparatus carries one of our AEDs, so knowing the differences between models keeps the team ready when it counts. AEDs save lives.
Eaton’s Neck FD’s Engine 2-12-4 spent yesterday covering Commack Fire Department's district for 8 hours so their members could enjoy their department picnic. During that time, Eaton’s Neck alongside Glen Cove FD’s 5211 responded to a total of 3 calls together. Thank you to our members for stepping up and covering a neighbor’s district.
The next generation of Eaton's Neck FD is working hard! Tonight our junior firefighters practiced advancing hose lines. Nothing but smiles, sweat, fun, and learning.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate America’s 250th with us. From the parade to the flag raising and cannon salute at Price’s Bend, to the BBQ and hot dog eating contest back at the firehouse, this community showed up big. Thank you to our neighboring fire departments for joining the fun and to our standby ambulance crew for keeping everyone safe. Special thanks to the Northport Historical Society, the Coast Guard Auxiliary Band, the militia, our local Coast Guard, our Singers and every local business that donated to our raffle baskets. And a huge shoutout to our own ENFD members who put in countless hours to make this day happen. This is what makes Eaton’s Neck home. Happy 4th from your friends at ENFD! 🇺🇸
