Eaton’s Neck Fire Department to Offer Heartsaver® CPR AED Courses for Residents

Beginning this fall, the Eaton’s Neck Fire Department will offer Heartsaver® CPR AED courses for residents. Heartsaver® CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training. During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice and testing. Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years. These courses will be held at the Eaton’s Neck Firehouse and will be offered to residents of the Eaton’s Neck Fire District at no cost.

The first class is scheduled for Saturday, November 14 at 9:00 a.m.. Class time is approximately two to three hours. To register, please send your name, address, and telephone number to Chief Paul A. Boronow at chiefs@eatonsneckfd.org. Class size is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Your placement in the class will be confirmed by email or phone call.
